Mr. Hanewich practices exclusively in the area of residential and commercial real property transactions for individuals, businesses and developers in all phases of real estate from acquisition through mortgage financing, development, sales and leasing. He has extensive experience representing a wide range of banks, financial institutions and mortgage lenders in connection with loans secured by residential, commercial and industrial real estate. More particularly, his practice encompasses purchase and sale contract negotiation and preparation, title examination and title insurance, closing services including deed, mortgage and related document preparation. Mr. Hanewich's practice also involves representing landlords and tenants in lease negotiation and preparation. Property management advice is available within the sphere of commercial and industrial property development and leasing, including review and preparation of property management agreements. Mr. Hanewich also practices in construction related matters, including representation in commercial development, contract negotiation and drafting, and residential and commercial construction lending and financing. Mr. Hanewich is a member of the Sarasota County Bar Association, an affiliate member of the Sarasota Association of Realtors and the Womens' Council of Realtors, and an associate member of the Home Builders Association of Manatee County, Inc. Mark C. Hanewich
Mr. Hanewich was born in Providence, Rhode Island in 1959. He graduated from Columbia University in New York City in 1981 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English. Mr. Hanewich graduated from Boston College Law School in 1984 with a Juris Doctor degree. He was admitted to the Rhode Island Bar in 1984, the Massachusetts Bar in 1985, and the Florida Bar in 1990.
