F. STEVEN HERBMr. Herb was born in Cincinnati, Ohio in 1949. He graduated from Bowling Green University in 1971 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Pre-Law and Economics. Mr. Herb graduated from the University of Cincinnati School of Law in 1974 with a Juris Doctor degree. He was admitted to the Ohio Bar in 1974 and to the Florida Bar in 1977.

Mr. Herb served as a United States Air Force Judge Advocate from 1975 through 1978 and was awarded the Meritorious Service Medal and the Air Force Commendation Medal.

Mr. Herb's primary areas of practice are corporate and business law, including preparation of contracts, buy/sell transactions, collections, products liability, warranty litigation, and manufacturer/dealer relationships. He also represents businesses, individuals, manufacturers and retailers in many other industries as well. He is a member of the Defense Research Institute and the Business Law Section of the Florida Bar.

Mr. Herb has been certified by the Florida Supreme Court as a County and Circuit Court mediator. Accordingly, he now offers his services to litigants as a neutral mediator to assist them in resolving disputes.

Mr. Herb is a member of the Board of Directors of the American Boat and Yacht Council and is a joint author of Recreational Boating Law and Benedict on Admiralty (Vol. 8), both published by Matthew Bender & Co. He is an active member of the Recreational Boat Law Committee of the Maritime Law Association of the United States and the Government Relations Committee of the National Marine Manufacturers Association, receiving a Recognition Award from the National Marine Manufacturers' Association for effective legislative activity. Mr. Herb has been national legal counsel for over a dozen boat manufacturers for more than twenty years.

Mr. Herb also has an active real estate practice and is an authorized agent for issuance of title insurance in both commercial and residential transactions.

Mr. Herb was President and a member of the Board of Directors of the Tyndall Federal Credit Union from 1975 through 1978. He was Chairman of the Twelfth Judicial Circuit Unauthorized Practice of Law Committee of the Florida Bar and was awarded the Meritorious Public Service Award by the Florida Bar. He has served on the Fee Arbitration Committee of the Twelfth Judicial Circuit of the Florida Bar.

Mr. Herb is a former Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Siesta Key Utilities Authority, Inc., a director and member of the Executive Committee, and former Commodore of the Field Club. He has served as a director of the Brock Wilson Foundation and the Cotillion Club of Sarasota.
