Mr. Guarnieri was admitted to the Florida Bar in 2004. Mr. Guarnieri worked for two years as a staff attorney for the Seventh Judicial Circuit Courts in St. Augustine. In that capacity he had daily contact with numerous judges and magistrates, and frequent interaction with the Office of the State Attorney, the Office of the Public Defender, and various administrative and executive agencies. He was directly responsible to the judges of the Circuit for the drafting of legal memoranda, proposed orders and final judgments on cases pending before them. He also assisted the judges in the development and implementation of a criminal pretrial scheduling procedure. Mr. Guarnieri joined NELSON HESSE, LLP in August 2006. His current practice focuses on warranty defense litigation in federal and state courts, complex commercial litigation, local government law disputes, and general civil litigation. He is licensed to practice in all state courts in Florida, and has handled numerous appeals to various Florida District Courts of Appeal. He is also admitted to practice in the United States District Courts for the Middle District of Florida, the Northern District of Florida, and the Southern District of Florida. Mr. Guarnieri is a member of the Florida Bar’s Young Lawyers Division, the Florida Trial Court Staff Attorney Association, and the Sarasota County Bar Association. He has Co-Chaired the Sarasota County Young Lawyers Division’s Mock Trial Committee since 2006 and is the Chair of the Young Lawyers Division’s Law Week Review Committee for 2008. Daniel Guarnieri was born in Dayton, Ohio in 1977 and grew up in Tampa, Florida. He graduated from the University of Florida in 2000 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology, with a minor in Criminology. Continuing at the University of Florida, he graduated cum laude from the Fredric G. Levin College of Law.
