Mr. Herb was born in Cincinnati, Ohio in 1949. He graduated from Bowling Green University in 1971 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Pre-Law and Economics. Mr. Herb graduated from the University of Cincinnati School of Law in 1974 with a Juris Doctor degree. He was admitted to the Ohio Bar in 1974 and to the Florida Bar in 1977. He joined Nelson Hesse in 1979 and is the firm's senior partner.

Mr. Peal is a Florida native, born in Ft. Lauderdale in 1958. He graduated with high honors from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration in 1980. Mr. Peal received his Juris Doctor degree in 1983 from the University of Florida College of Law with honors and earned a Masters Degree in Taxation Law (LL.M.) in 1984 from the same institution. He was admitted to the Florida Bar in 1984 and is also authorized to practice in the U.S. Tax Court.

Mr. Robinson joined Nelson Hesse, LLP as a Partner in 2005.  He is a Florida native, born in 1964 in Lake Wales. He graduated from Stetson University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Liberal Arts in 1986 and received his Juris Doctorate Degree in 1989 from Mercer University at the Walter F. George School of Law. He was admitted to the Florida Bar in 1989 and the Georgia Bar in 1990.  He is also admitted to practice in the United States District Court, Middle District of Florida and the United States Court of Appeals for the 11^th Circuit.  Mr. Robinson is Board Certified by the Florida Bar in City, County and Local Government Law.

Mr. Polk joined Nelson Hesse, LLP, as a Partner in 2007.  He graduated from the University of Central Florida with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science in 1984 and received his Juris Doctorate degree in 1988 from Florida State University College of Law.  He was admitted to the Florida Bar in 1988 and is also admitted to practice in the United State District Court, Middle District of Florida.

Mr. Causey is a native of Sarasota, Florida, born in 1948. He graduated from Duke University, Durham, North Carolina in 1970 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. He practiced for seven years as a vocational rehabilitation counselor and earned a Master of Science degree in Rehabilitation Counseling from Florida State University in 1976.

Mr. DeVilbiss has been a resident of Sarasota since 1957 and a member of the Florida Bar since 1973, graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, with a major in marketing, from the University of Florida in 1968. Mr. DeVilbiss received his Juris Doctor degree in 1973 from the University of Florida College of Law.

Daniel Guarnieri was born in Dayton, Ohio in 1977 and grew up in Tampa, Florida.  He graduated from the University of Florida in 2000 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology, with a minor in Criminology.  Continuing at the University of Florida, he graduated cum laude from the Fredric G. Levin College of Law.

Mr. Guarnieri was admitted to the Florida Bar in 2004. 

Ms. Blackwell graduated with honors from Florida State University College of Law in 2006 with a Juris Doctor degree.  During law school, Ms. Blackwell worked in the Eminent Domain Bureau of the Florida Attorney General’s Office as a law clerk.
